Relatively undemanding and easy to grow, this compact and bushy clematis is perfect for underplanting roses, and it will also look great when woven through larger, purple-leaved shrubs. In smaller gardens, it's ideal for potting up and placing on the terrace or balcony, where it's abundance of flowers can be enjoyed over a long period. - Garden care: Cut back the stems to the base of the plant each winter and apply a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the plant, avoiding the immediate crown.
