Glossy, rich green foliage, which is retained throughout the year, acts as the perfect foil for the vibrantly coloured, slightly ruffled flowers, which form in loose trusses in late spring. A great option for a larger pot, it can be used to add a bright shot of colour to a partially shaded patio - or border. - Garden care: Avoid planting too deeply. Apply a generous 5-7cm (2-3in) mulch of leaf mould around the base of the plant each spring.
