A low-growing bulb with narrow, upright leaves and a flower spike with as many as ten star-shaped, cloudy white flowers, often with a faint blue stripe along the length of each petal. Gorgeous intermingled with cyclamen or snake's head fritillary, these plants will naturalise areas under trees and shrubs if left undisturbed. Pop the RHS award-winning Lebanon striped squill in pots - they do well here too!

  • Garden care: Plant 5-10cm deep and a similar distance apart in autumn. Leave undisturbed and they will form good-sized clumps.
  • Humans/Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
