    A curious-looking tuberous perennial with pyjama-like white and pale-pink striped, hooded spathes with a greenish tube (10cm in length) emerge in summer. Luxuriant and large mid-green leaves follow the flowers.

  • Garden care: Apply a generous layer of mulch in autumn to protect from the worst of the winter weather. If growing Arisaema candidissimum in a pot, move to a sheltered, frost-free spot. Protect the emerging foliage from frosts in spring. Do not allow dormant tubers to dry out completely.
  • Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten; skin/eye irritant
