Forming a graceful clump of light, yellow-green fronds, which are in stark contrast to the deep purple-red stalks, this decorative fern is ideal for helping to illuminate a partially shaded border. It looks wonderful when planted en-masse, but it will also offer diversity in both colour and texture when teamed with other shade-lovers.
Garden care: Incorporate lots of well-rotted leaf mould or garden compost into the planting hole. Remove dead foliage in spring ytaking care not to damage the newly emerging fronds.
