  • A stylish and romantic assortment of carefully curated flowering tulips of complementary form and colour, wonderful in cut-flower displays or as a prelude to late spring in garden borders or patio pots.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Pretty Lady': Quite chunky (for a lily-flowered tulip!) green-flushed flowers look resplendent in late spring, perched on top of their slender stems. Becoming more vase-shaped as they open, the flowers will offer form as well as colour to borders or pots. Grows to 50cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Purple Doll': The pointed deep purple petals of this tulip are slightly ruffled, and each has a touch of green rising up from the base. A sport of Doll's Minuet, it has an elegant silhouette and it comes up to a good height. It will also mix easily with most shades of pink and purple. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Elegant Lady': A stylish lily-flowered tulip with slender, recurved flowers that are made up of pointed-tipped petals, each with a soft mix of creamy yellow and blush lavender-rose. It's a useful mixer, because it will help tie in richer yellows with stronger pinks or purples - and it also looks great when cut for the vase. Grows to 45cm tall.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
  • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
