A super and homely gift set for an unloved shelf or long table comprising an elegant, white orchid and decorative, evergreen succulent. This cosy set consists of an orchid, an easy-to-care for succulent cactus, two terracotta coloured, decorative mug-style pots, and an oval, bamboo tray. Perfect for a narrow space or greening up a small home-office.

Five items in total including the indoor plants listed below:

Rhipsalis burchellii: A spineless, much-branched cactus that forms an elegant cascade of delicate branches which are slender, cylindrical, branched, and highly succulent. Grows to 60cm.

Phalaenopsis ‘Lausanne’: Low lying deep green leaves with beautiful sprays of white flowers with yellow centres mark this stand-out orchid. Grows to 40cm.

Please note: We work with live products so the species depicted may different from the photos due to seasonal availability.

Home care: Rhipsalis should be kept away from direct sunlight to to avoid scorching its leaves. Ensure it is moist during its growing season, which occurs from the early spring to late summer but cut back on water throughout the winter which will promote healthy blossoming. It enjoys moisture and humidity so mist regularly.

Phalaenopsis ‘Lausanne’ is best placed on a sunny windowsill during the winter months. During the summer, the plant prefers shelter from strong afternoon sun. Water from the bottom by sitting the plant in a bowl of water for one hour once a week and allow to drain. Rainwater is preferred over tap water. When flowers have finished, snip off at the stem and maintain regular watering and new growth should appear in time. Mist occasionally to maintain a humid environment which the plant enjoys in the wild. Apply a liquid fertiliser fortnightly from spring to summer. Maintain a stable temperature between 16-21°C.
