Enduring favourites for the spring garden, hyacinths are prized for their showy flowers and sweet perfume. If you can't decide on a particular colour (or want to create a blend of cool colours), then this collection is ideal.

In each collection you will receive 5 of each of the following:

  • Hyacinth 'Carnegie':This elegant white hyacinth, looks wonderful when planted out in a pot or window box, or when added to a bedding scheme in the border. Make sure you plant them near an entrance or pathway so you can enjoy their fragrance each time you pass. Grows to 25cm.
  • Hyacinth 'Sky Jacket':The soft pastel shade of the flowers will blend well with soft pinks and white, as well as offering a calming tone to richer purples and plums. They smell divine and make excellent cut flowers. Grows to 25cm.
  • Hyacinth 'Blue Pearl':Tightly packed flower-heads of scented, bell-shaped blooms appear in March and April above the glossy, strap-like, dark green leaves. These beautiful, rich blue hyacinths make a fabulously fragrant patio display with spring-flowering pansies and bulbs. Grows to 25cm.
  • Hyacinth 'Delft Blue':Porcelain-blue, star-shaped flowers crowd the upright flowerspike in spring, filling the surrounding air with their sweet perfume. It also looks lovely planted in clumps or drifts throughout the border. Grows to 25cm.

  • Garden care: Pot up and bring indoors if you want them to flower in January, otherwise plant 15cm deep and 10cm apart in a bright spot. For safety reasons always use gloves when handling these bulbs.
    • Humans: Skin irritant; Humans/Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
