A compact and manageable Cosmos particularly suited to pots. 'Sonata Carmine' is an easy-to-grow, free-flowering annual with an abundance of showy, 7cm (3”) vibrant carmine flowers that open above the distinctive fern-like foliage. A popular vase filler, this ‘Mexican Aster’ is also ideal for the front of borders.

Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 - 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). Delivered in plastic-free packaging, they are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse, where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting outside after all risk of frost has passed.

Please note: We grow these especially for you, so we do request that full payment is made when you place your order. See above for despatch dates for this particular plant. To ensure that your plants arrive in the best possible condition each pack will be despatched individually.

  • Garden care: Grow on under glass and plant out once all risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and feed at regular intervals with a high-potash fertiliser throughout summer
