Perfect for both the novice and more experienced gardener, these 'Rembrandt' double red tulips (up to 30cm tall) are available in this gift set to add a bit of seasonal colour to your home. As a gift to yourself or a loved one it keeps giving because once the flowers have faded, the bulbs can then be planted out in the garden where they will continue to produce their stunning, compact, and early-season flowers each spring. After purchase store in a cool and dry place.

This kit comes complete with a ceramic pot, 3 x Tulipa 'Red Baby Doll' bulbs, potting compost and clear instructions to create a beautiful display for your home.

Indoor growing instructions: Making the compost - place the peat-free compost pellets in a suitable mixing container and add 350ml of lukewarm water. Allow to stand and expand for 30-60 minutes, drain off any excess water and mix compost well. You may have more compost than you require and more water could be required if the compost mix is looking dry.

How to plant (from August onwards): Half fill the planter with the compost. Place the bulbs with the nose upright and cover with more compost. Water sparingly so the compost is moist. Be careful not to overwater. Place the planter in a cool dark position (7-9ºC). When the shoots are 5-10cm tall place in a light, warm position (18-20ºC). Once in flower move to a cool, bright position to prolong life. Turn occasionally as the flowers will grow towards the light. Keep compost moist at all times. When the flowers have finished blooming, the bulbs can be planted outside in the garden.
