The gorgeous, rich purple flowers of this striking Siberian iris top upright stems in May and June - which makes them perfect for bridging the gap between spring and summer. A versatile and relatively low maintenance plant, the slender foliage of 'Tycoon' makes it ideal for adding vertical interest to borders or pond-edges, where it will spread over time to form generous clumps.

  • Garden care: Plant in soil that has been improved with well-rotted manure or garden compost and do not allow to dry out, particularly as the plant is getting established. If grown in a container, it will need dividing and repotting every couple of years in spring.
  • Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten
