Flowering a little later than many other lupins, this striking bicoloured form is ideal for extending the season. An intense 'tutti-frutti' blend of warm yellow and apricot-orange, pea-like pea-like flowers rise imperially from the finger-like foliage. Give 'Gladiator' the thumbs up and weave it through a sunny mixed or hot colour-themed herbaceous border, where it will help add structural interest as well as vibrant colour.

  • Garden care: Deadhead the faded blooms to encourage a second flush of flowers. In autumn cover the crown of the plant to protect against frost damage.
  • Pets: TOXIC if eaten; Humans: Harmful if eaten
