  • A wonderful splash of plum, purple and magenta tones featuring three remarkably colourful and long-lasting varieties. A dazzling collection for those seeking a combination of perfectly matched blooms in a cut-flower or spring border display.

In each collection you will receive the following:

    • 7 × Tulipa 'Jacuzzi': Grown for the cut flower trade, this triumph tulip produces its soft lilac flowers on sturdy stems, so that means it can cope better than most in poor weather conditions - as well as look great after being cut for the vase. It's also an easy colour to mix with white, pastels and stronger pinks and purples. Grows to 50cm.

    • 10 × Tulipa 'Laptop': Often grown in the trade for its cut flowers, which last well in the vase, this gorgeous maroon-pink tulip is overlaid with a soft blush. This creates a subtle whirl of colour, that makes it easy to mix with both stronger and paler shades. It's a good all-rounder because it works well in pots or borders. Grows to 50cm.

    • 10 × Tulipa 'Blue Diamond': Despite the name, the flower colour is more purple than blue, but they also have a subtle silvery lustre. The larger than average size of the fully double blooms will also pack a pretty impressive punch when woven through the border or used in pots. A good mixer, it goes well with most pinks and purples as well as deep plum. Grows to 45cm.

  • Garden care: From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
