Noted for producing large, long-lasting flowers early in the season these compact French marigold seedlings will add a brilliant splash of colour to the front of a summer bedding scheme - and they also do very well in pots and containers. Preferring a really sunny spot, they are more tolerant of drought than many other bedding plants, so are a good option if you are likely to forget, or are unable to water them every day.
Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 4 - 6cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden once all chance of frost has passed.

Garden care: Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside. They require little care, although regular deadheading will prolong the already substantial flowering period.
