Glowing yellow blooms that look like lit tapers, top the sturdy stems of this single late tulip towards the end of spring. Yellow is a great colour for the garden as it really stands out, and 'Muscadet' will look stunning when woven through the border in generous quantities. It's also good for cutting.
In keeping with our concern for the plight of the bees, this bulb forms part of our organic bulb range. It has been sustainably grown without the use of pesticides (including neonicotinoides), and it comes in a brown paper bag with an informative colour label. - Garden care: In September to December plant bulbs 15-20cm deep and 10-15cm apart in fertile, well-drained soil. Alternatively, allow 7-9 bulbs per 30cm sq. After flowering deadhead and apply a balanced liquid fertiliser each week for the first month. Once the foliage has died down naturally lift the bulbs and store in a cool greenhouse.
