Pond KH Plus contains natural biodegradable sodium bicarbonate to help you maintain the optimum balance of calcium, magnesium and CO² in your pond. Essential for keeping plants, fish and other pond life healthy.

When the KH value (carbonate hardness) of pond water is too low, the pH value will also fluctuate throughout the day. This can cause problems such as fish diseases and algae growth.

You can test your pond’s KH value with our water test kit (sold separately). The optimal KH value for a pond ranges between 5° and 10°. If the KH value is below 5°, Pond KH Plus will increase it quickly without clouding the water.

Dosage:

25ml (1 measuring cup) will increase the KH value of 900 litres of water by approximately 1°. In heavily polluted ponds, this increase will be lower.

This 1 litre container is enough to provide an increase of 4° for 8000 litres of water.
