Sansevieria cylindrica is an elegant, low maintenance houseplant with smooth, leathery, spear-like foliage. As its name suggests, ‘Straight’ is distinctly upright in habit and the minimalist, striking grey-green variegation adds to its appeal as a tough, air purifying plant for any stylish, contemporary home or office. Please be aware however that it is quite common for the plants to have small nicks or scars on their leaves. This is an indication of the plants maturity and does not have any affect on their long-term health or vigour in any way.
Please note that the pot in the photograph is not supplied with the plant (which is sent out in a simple nursery alternative), but we have a wide and wonderful range on our website to choose from. - Home care: The main thing to avoid with this plant is overwatering, so only water (avoiding the crown) when the compost gets quite dry. In winter you can cut back even more and only water every month or two and keep temperatures above 10°C. Repot every few years when the roots start to split the pot.
