A beautiful companion for tulips such as ‘Prinses Irene’ or ‘Negrita Double’, this long-flowering, bushy, wallflower produces long spires of coppery tinted flowers with purple tones above dark stemmed narrow, grey-green leaves. It is a short-lived plant, but it makes a vivid display for many months in a sunny border. - Garden care: Provide frost protection where freezing conditions are very severe or prolonged. Trim lightly after flowering to encourage the plants to bush out and avoid becoming leggy.
