Soft and warm pinks intermingle with stunning green-flamed deep pink blooms, creating a breathtaking sight that exudes elegance and charm. Whether adorning a cut flower vase or gracing a vibrant spring flower border, these large-flowering tulips are sure to infuse any space with beautiful springtime colour.
In each collection you will receive the following:
- 10 × Tulipa 'Pink Star': Big and blousy flowers, made up of gently ruffled, pink and apricot-blush petals, sit on top of short but sturdy stems - just begging to be picked! An excellent option for pots, it's also an easy to mix colourway that will team up with solid pinks, purple, burgundy, blush and even rose gold. Grows to 35cm.
- 10 × Tulipa 'Sanne': Initially the large flowers are a blend of warm pink and cream, but as they age the petals start to take on a warm peachy tone, creating an exquisite bloom that makes a big impact. It looks great when teamed with antique shades. Grows to 45cm.
From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
