This combination is simplicity itself with two main periods of interest throughout the year. This striking, paeonia flowered variety of Camellia bursts into life in early spring, while the big blue lily-turf provides a long period of colour from August to November.
Planting tips: To prevent damage to the emerging buds and flowers of the Camellia, protect from cold, dry winds and early morning sun. Make sure it gets adequate water during dry spells to prevent bud drop. You can also encourage lots of new growth on the Liriope by cutting all the old leaves down to the ground in spring - this is also the time to lift and divide large clumps.
