This insect-loving, colourful and contrasting collection contains the whirling butterflies of Oenothera lindheimeri (syn. Gaura) and the sunset hues of the coneflower (Echinacea), together with a vintage-style, retro-chic ribbed planter.

Gauras are graceful, hazy plants, which offer a prolonged period of interest with their airy wands of white star-shaped flowers, that fade to pink as they age. Echinacea provides a distinctive contrast with its brilliant orange-pink, daisy-like flowers which appear throughout the summer. These plants are supplied with an industrial ribbed metal container, which will complement them perfectly. Produced from galvanised steel, with 3 Ø12mm holes in the base. It measures H40cm, Ø 46cm.
Garden care: Deadhead the Echinacea regularly to prolong flowering, but resist the temptation to cut back the gaura after it has flowered as it takes on beautiful autumn tints, particularly in cold weather.
