This vibrant spring collection of cup-shaped and pointed tulips blooms in bold shades of pink, maroon, and red that create dramatic displays in beds and borders or as cut flowers on sturdy stems.

In each collection you will receive the following:

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Barcelona': A very conventionally shaped flower for a tulip, but it has outstandingly vibrant colour that makes it a real show-off. The stems are sturdy making them ideal for windy or exposed spots, and the flowers are quite long lasting. If you want a really dramatic show, mix them with strong purples or reds, or tone them down with softer pinks. Grows to 45cm.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Pretty Princess': Silky, rose-pink petals, each with a darker magenta flame herald the cup-shaped blooms of this regal Triumph tulip. ‘Pretty Princess’ has foliage trimmed with a narrow cream band providing additional interest to its robust and long lasting, two-tone flowers. A true ‘belle’ for large pots or as stand-out pockets of bold colour for royal beds and borders. Grows to 35cm.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Ronaldo': Rich, deep maroon-purple petals with lovely coloured veining make this a spectacular tulip for spring bedding displays. The petals have a rounded shape with pointed tips and have a smoky sheen and silky texture. Grows to 40cm.

  • 10 × Tulipa 'Seadov': Magnificent red flowers make a big statement when they appear in mid-spring. They look superb when mixed with hot colours like orange and yellow, but to create contrast, plant them with rich purples. Grows to 30cm.

  • Garden care:
From August to November plant the bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart in a sunny spot with fertile, well-drained soil. While actively growing, keep them moderately well watered and remove the flowers after they have faded. At that stage a balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied each week for 4 weeks before they die down.
    • Humans: Harmful if eaten; skin allergen; Pets: Ornamental bulbs - not to be eaten
