Flowering periodically throughout the year, and taking up little room, African violets are perfect for smaller spaces, and relatively easy to keep. With their eye-catching flowers and collar of soft, furry leaves, these potted posies are perfect for a brightly lit bedside table, or lined up along a window sill.

In this Saintpaulia collection, you will receive one 12cm pot of each of the following colourful varieties:

Saintpaulia 'Top Dark Blue': Intense purple-blue single flowers, which contrast against the rosette of deep green foliage. Grows to 15cm.

Saintpaulia 'Red': Gorgeous, rich cerise red single flowers with distinctive yellow central anthers, form a posy above the rich furry green leaves on these well-loved plants. Perfect for windowsills out of direct sunlight, they can flower for many months. Grows to 15cm.

Saintpaulia 'Pink': Rosebud-like flowers form in a cluster above the collar of deep green foliage off and on throughout the year, creating a really pretty effect. Compact and low-growing, it will thrive in a spot that gets lots of bright but indirect light. Grows to 15cm.

Home care:

Saintpaulias enjoy a bright, warm and humid environment, so a bathroom or kitchen windowsill is ideal. Avoid cold draughts and direct sun, and ensure the foliage does not touch the window otherwise it may get scorched. Water the plants from the base with tepid rainwater if possible but allow the surface to become dry before repeating the process. Remove any dead flowers or foliage as soon as they appear, and only repot when the plant becomes root bound.
