‘Ultra Blue’ boasts darker blue flowers than the parent ‘Bluebell Creeper’ and a denser, more branching habit, making it ideal for planting into pots. This unusual and evergreen twining climber flowers profusely from early summer to September outside or grown all year round as a wonderful specimen plant in a warm conservatory.

  • Garden care:
Tie twining stems using raffia or garden twine. In the spring cut back the flowered shoots to within 2-4 buds. Protect from prolonged or severe frost by wrapping with a double layer of horticultural fleece. Apply a dry ulch (strulch/bark chips) around the base of the plant to help insulate roots and suppress weeds.
