The heart-shaped leaves of this low-growing perennial are so heavily patterned with silver, that only the veins and outer edges have retained their green colouring. Appearing each spring, this foliage is soon accompanied by sprays of small, rich blue flowers.

Water newly planted perennials regularly for their first year to encourage successful establishment, providing extra water during long dry spells.
