Eye catching shell pink flowers, 4.5” (11cm) across, with ruffled petals surrounding a central boss of golden stamens. ‘Pink Icicle’ is a late winter to spring flowering camellia that has a moderately vigorous and upright habit, suited for larger, sheltered gardens as a specimen, screening hedge, or cluster where the glossy, dark-green foliage will provide the perfect backdrop to the dramatic peony-esque blooms.

  • Garden care: To prevent damage to the emerging buds and flowers protect from cold, dry winds and early morning sun. Water established plants in dry weather to prevent bud drop. Apply a balanced liquid fertiliser in mid-spring and again in June. Top-dress annually with shredded bark or well-rotted leaf mould. After flowering lightly trim or prune any branches that spoil the appearance of the plant. Prefers acidic soil with plenty of organic matter and good drainage.
