Sweetly scented, deep cerise-pink, bell-shaped summer flowers with creamy centres, followed by silvery seed-heads. This fragrant, non-climbing variety of clematis is perfect for growing in a mixed border in full sun or partial shade. The wispy seed-heads are an important decorative feature, extending the season of interest through to autumn. - Garden care: Cut back the stems to the base of the plant each winter and apply a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the plant, avoiding the immediate crown.
