A compact clematis with large, creamy white flowers with prominent brown anthers borne from June as doubles, and again in August as singles. A lovely, easy-to-grow climber 'Mrs George Jackman' is perfect for growing up a sunny wall, over an arch or even through a neighbouring tree. It looks particularly stunning when grown against a dark background such as Cotinus 'Royal Purple' or a purple/copper beech hedge. - Garden care: Remove dead and damaged stems before growth begins in early spring, cutting all remaining stems back to where strong buds are visible. Apply a slow-release balanced fertiliser and a mulch of well-rotted garden compost around the base of the plant in early spring.
- Humans: Skin irritant; Pets: Harmful if eaten
