For those that prefer the deeper shades of cerise pink, ‘near-black’ maroon, and crimson, in a colourful and curated collection, look no further. A stunning and award winning assortment of tulips that are sure to draw attention to themselves in patio pots, borders and interior displays.
In each collection you will receive the following:
- 10 × Tulipa 'Paul Scherer': Tulip breeders have been trying for years to create a variety that produces a near-black flower on a tall stem - and here it is! The blooms are large, oval, almost egg-shaped, and sit on top of a sturdy stem in late spring. Plant in bold drifts for big impact, or tone it down with silvers and pinks. This variety is a recipient of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society. Grows to 50cm.
- 10 × Tulipa 'Ridgedale': Large, cerise pink flowers that have a warm apricot undertone open to form generous bowls of gently ruffled petals. A stunning late flowering tulip, you'll want to plant this in generous drifts so you have some extras for the vase. Grows to 35cm.
- 10 × Tulipa 'Mascara': Boasting rich chocolate-red blooms that burst forth in late spring, 'Mascara' offers a dramatic flair to any garden or container display. This unbeatable Triumph tulip brings warmth and depth to sunny areas, thriving both in flower beds and patio pots. Its cup-shaped flowers complement or contrast with shades of pink, white, or orange, creating a striking ensemble that captivates the eye. With broadly lance-shaped foliage, this lovely tulip stands tall atop sturdy stems, making it an excellent choice for cut flowers. Grows to 50cm.
