The elegant, deep pink blooms of this stunning herbaceous perennial are carried on tall stems and emerge in late spring to late summer. Twinspur gets its name from the pair of downward-pointing spurs on the back of the flower. The spurs contain a special oil, collected in the wild by specially adapted bees with unusually long forelegs! Native to southern Africa, this attractive border or container plant will need some frost protection during the coldest months.
