We consider this the best of the white echinaceas. The large and lightly scented flowerheads consist of a green central cone, encased by a collar of greenish white, petal-like rays, which remain quite horizontal throughout their season. It offers colour and structural interest in summer, and the subsequent seedheads will hold their appeal well into winter. - Garden care: Lift and divide congested colonies in autumn or spring. In autumn cut back all dead flower stems to the ground. Coneflowers benefit from a spring or autumn mulch with well-rotted compost.
