A long-flowering, spreading perennial that produces masses of pale lavender-pink, daisy-like flowers with bright yellow centres from late spring into autumn.

This low-growing plant forms a neat mound of wiry stems and small, bright green leaves, making it ideal for softening the edges of paths, filling gaps in walls, or trailing over containers.

Erigeron karvinskianus 'Lavender Lady' thrives in well-drained soil and a sunny position, where it will self-seed gently without becoming invasive. Drought-tolerant once established, it requires minimal maintenance apart from the occasional trim to encourage fresh blooms and maintain its shape.

A magnet for pollinators, this cultivar is perfect for wildlife-friendly gardens.

  • Garden care:
Plant Erigeron in full sun and well-drained soil (avoiding very wet conditions in winter).

This perennial is relatively low maintenance, is reasonably drought tolerant once established and generally looks after itself with no dead-heading necessary.

Cut back at the end of the season if plants are looking straggly. Erigeron karvinskianus tends to self-seed readily, which is part of its charm - remove seedlings as they emerge to control any unwanted spread.
