A spreading tender perennial, 'Big Kiss Yellow Flame,' features narrow grey-green leaves and large golden yellow flowers with a prominent dark red stripe at the centre of each petal. This half-hardy, drought-tolerant (once established) plant thrives in sunny conditions and well-drained soil, making it suitable for filling gaps in borders or enhancing hot-hued summer container displays. Garden care:
Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feed with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer.
