A low-growing, spreading evergreen shrub that forms a mat of small, elliptic to narrowly oblong leaves that are dark grey-green and hairy. During late spring to summer, 'Grace Ward' produces clusters of purple-veined, blue, star-shaped flowers, and is perfect for softening the edges of a sunny raised bed or rock garden outcrop with well-drained, humus-rich, acid soil. - Garden care: Mulch around the plant so the soil underneath remains cool and moist during a hot summer. Trim lightly after flowering to maintain density and prevent any legginess.
