Attracting bees and butterflies with its captivating blooms, this iris is a standout feature in any moist soil environment border or pond. Its large, pink-purple flowers adorned with intriguing white stripes and a golden-yellow centre create a stunning display, with each bloom reaching up to 15cm (6in) in size. Thriving in moist, boggy soil, 'Jell-O' flourishes along pond edges or in well-watered flower beds, bringing vibrant colour in contrast to its sword-shaped foliage which provides structure and interest throughout the growing season.

  • Garden care:
These plants are potted up (using a suitable aquatic compost) into aquatic pots. These pots are made of a fine mesh, which allows water to circulate through the compost, providing the plants with both oxygen and nutrients. After foliage has died back in autumn cut back to just above the water surface. If using as a boggy/marginal aquatic, plant out in reliably moist or boggy soil, or pot up into a pond basket and place at the margins of a pond at a depth of 0-15cm (0-6in).
    • Humans/Pets: Harmful if eaten
