This climber is semi-evergreen, so it can lose some of its leaves in winter. In colder regions or more exposed gardens, it may lose them all, but then fresh new foliage appears again in spring.

  • Position: full sun
  • Soil: fertile, well-drained soil
  • Rate of growth: average
  • Flowering period: June to July
  • Hardiness: frost hardy (will need protection in colder areas)

An attractive, scrambling climber with fragrant, pink flowers in early to mid-summer. A semi-evergreen climber that is only frost hardy so does best planted against a sheltered, sunny wall in well-drained soil. It doesn't grow as large as some jasmines so is perfect for planting in a pot or near a door, where the scented flowers can be enjoyed.

  • Garden care: After flowering remove old and overcrowded shoots.
