If you want a selection of plants that will flower over a really long period then look no further.

In this collection you will receive one of each of the following plants. They are all supplied in 9cm nursery pots.

    • Vinca minor 'Gertrude Jekyll': This prostrate, evergreen plant forms a neat carpet of dark green leaves which are excellent for suppressing weeds. The wonderful, pure-white flowers are borne over a long period from April to September and are valuable for lightening up shadier spots. More compact than other varieties, it's perfect where space is limited. Grows to 10cm.

    • Agastache 'Blue Boa': This new form is dependably hardy to -5C and produces its fattened spikes of deep violet-blue flowers, which will help attract beneficial insects, from early summer to mid-autumn. The rich green foliage has a licorice-like aroma when gently bruised. Grows to 60cm.

    • Erigeron karvinskianus: Masses of small daisies (from May to October), which open white but turn pink, give this plant an unusual, two-tone effect. Try it as an edging plant in a mixed border, alongside paths, in a gravel garden, spilling over walls, or planted in the cracks in paving. Grows to 30cm.

    • Geranium 'Lilac Ice': A sport of the ever-popular Rozanne, this new geranium is bound to be popular. Its flowers are a soft lilac-pink, while the foliage they rise above is subtly mottled yellowish green. Less vigorous, but no less hardy than its parent, this one is better for lining the edges of a path, or being at the front of the border as it won't stray too far. Grows to 35cm.

    Planting tips:
Prepare the bed well by digging in lots of composted organic matter before you plant. For best results it is essential that the plants are kept well watered for the first year, particularly during warmer weather.
