You’d be ‘Scilly’ not to consider this sumptuous, ground covering perennial for summer season pots and front of borders. Evergreen and hardy in milder areas of the UK, the weed-suppressing foliage erupts into a profusion of deep magenta-purple daisy-like flowers from mid-summer until the first frosts. ‘Tresco’ is a sun lover so make sure to plant in full sun, in a window box or pot to appreciate the succession of magnificent flowers. - Garden care: Grow in full sun to allow the flowers to fully open and deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
