Meet 'Surfinia Blue Vein' - featuring oval-shaped, sticky and hairy mid-green leaves, and a profusion of stunning, velvety flowers. These gramophone-trumpet-shaped blossoms are pale lavender-white with dark purple veining and a strikingly dark purple centre. This tender perennial, commonly used for seasonal bedding or as a patio container plant, is known for its bushy, vigorous growth and semi-trailing habit.

  • Garden care: Grow on in a greenhouse or on a sunny windowsill. When all risk of frost has gone, transplant outdoors where the plants are to flower. Shelter from drying winds. Apply a liquid fertiliser fortnightly throughout the growing season.
