This spreading and low-growing phlox is ideal for alpine beds or pots, but it also makes a wonderful ground cover at the front of a sunny border. It can even be used to fill gaps between paving slabs - or tumble over the top of a wall. In spring, you can enjoy the white flowers, which virtually smother the foliage and create a carpet of stars. - Garden care: Give it a trim after the flowers have faded and lift and divide clumps in autumn.
