A stunning and comprehensive modern collection of pastel pinks, raspberry flushed apricot and peachy perfection for those looking to extend borders or cut flower displays well into autumn. Carefully curated to blend beautifully and en masse in garden or a cut flowervase.

In each collection you will receive one tuber of each of the following:

  • Dahlia 'Café au Lait': The flower colour of this gorgeous decorative dahlia is hard to describe, but imagine rich cream with a big dollop of peachy-pink and you will get the idea. However the colour is described, the flowers are lush and lovely. They can grow up to 25cm across, so will make a pretty spectacular display in the border, or when cut and placed in a vase. Grows to 1.2m.

  • Dahlia 'Strawberry Cream': Introducing 'Strawberry Cream', where the essence of summer is encapsulated in the rosy pink, strawberry-rippled blossoms of this fully double delight. Bursting with pinky-white petals adorned with darker pink flushes and evolving streaks, each bloom ages gracefully, deepening in colour and intensity over time. Perfect for pastel colour schemes, this dahlia exudes elegance, especially when paired with subtle shades of pink, purple, and blue. Grows to 1.2m.

  • Dahlia 'Sturm Christel': A resplendent dahlia boasting numerous dusky purple-tinged peach flowers atop robust and sturdy stems contributing both style and substance to romantic or cut flower border and container displays. ‘Sturm Cristel’ is a free-flowering cultivar showcasing approximately 10cm (4in) wide delicately formed blooms, blending seamlessly into pastel themed, cottage garden borders. Grows to 90cm.

  • Dahlia 'Linda's Baby': A dahlia that reaches a modest height with delightful, neatly inrolled light peach-pink petals, creating a flattened ball measuring 8-10cm (3-4in) across. With soft pink sherbet hues and subtle yellow undertones, this dahlia radiates charm, beloved by flower arrangers for its enduring peach-toned petals that last long in the vase. Partner this beauty with blue and purple-toned plants like Agastache, Salvia ‘Amistad’, or Perovskia for an enchanting floral ensemble. Grows to 1m.

  • Dahlia 'Silver Years': This mesmerising variety blooms abundantly midsummer through frost, flaunting voluminous double blossoms in captivating hues. Magnificent 10cm (4in) flowers reveal soft blush pink petals, each delicately veined with purple upon a cream interior. Such elegance arising from serrated dark foliage makes 'Silver Years' an eye-catching backdrop for white garden themes or arrangements. Grows to 1.2m.

  • Garden care:
Dahlia tubers can be planted outside after frost, or started off in pots under glass in late winter to early spring. Plant them horizontally approximately 12cm deep, making sure the ‘eyes’ are uppermost. Allow enough room between each tuber so the plants can grow and spread to their full size without being overcrowded. While in growth, provide a high-nitrogen liquid feed each week in June, then a high-potash fertiliser each week from July to September. Stake with canes or brushwood if it becomes necessary. In mild areas, leave them in situ over winter, but protect the crown with a generous layer of dry mulch. In colder areas, carefully lift and clean the tubers once the first frosts have blackened the foliage and allow them to dry naturally indoors. Then place the dry tubers in a shallow tray, just covered with slightly moist potting compost, sand or vermiculite and store in a frost-free place until planting out again.
