Primula ‘White’ produces masses of large, elegant, double, white flowers atop oblong, veined, dark green leaves. They’re easy to grow, highly fragrant and will brighten up your garden during the winter months. Semi-evergreen, these rosette-forming perennials are perfect for pots and winter bedding schemes where their purity and reliably hardy flowers can be looked down upon to best effect.
Plant out in a partially shaded and sheltered position, adding plenty of leaf mould and compost to the planting hole and backfill. Water well until established. Divide large clumps in late spring or early summer after the plant has flowered, preferably during a wet spell.
