Conical trusses of coral-red, trumpet-shaped in May and large, dark green flowers leaves, retained all year. This large flowered hybrid rhododendron is ideal for planting in a shrub border or woodland edge. An extremely free flowering variety it requires humus-rich, acid soil or moist, but well-drained ericaceous compost.
