With almost leafless, cylindrical stems boasting a striking grey-green hue banded with cream, 'Zebrinus' is an evergreen perennial that commands attention in boggy soils or aquatic settings. Its leaves feature distinct horizontal streaks of white and green, this water-loving beauty thrives in sunny to partially shaded locations along the shores of lakes, ponds, and rivers. From June to August, clusters of small brown flowers adorn its smooth stems. Requires minimal care and is highly resistant to diseases, making it a resilient and captivating addition to water gardens.

  • Garden care:
These plants are potted up (using a suitable aquatic compost) into aquatic pots. These pots are made of a fine mesh, which allows water to circulate through the compost, providing the plants with both oxygen and nutrients. If you are using them as a aquatic plant, they can be planted into neutral to acidic soil (for best results) up to a water covering of 30cm (12") deep.
