A recent introduction, 'Abigail' has both a lovely, neat habit and makes for an excellent and undemanding houseplant that has an incredibly long flowering period. The flowers themselves are a soft hyacinth blue, with the lower being veined with deeper purple over a dollop of clotted cream. It will make a great gift, and the blooms will last much longer than a freshly cut bouquet of flowers.
