With its evergreen foliage and prolific flowers, 'Baby Marie' is a compact variety perfect for rockeries and border fronts. This low, spreading shrub is clothed in tiny dark green leaves that provide year-round colour. Beginning in April, the abundant, early and prolonged blooms emerge pale lilac before fading to white by mid-summer, creating a showy, pollinator-attracting display atop the mound of foliage.

  • Garden care:
Hebes need free-draining soil, so before planting, dig in lots of organic matter to improve the soil condition and drainage. Water newly planted hebes regularly for the first season, especially in warm, dry weather. Once planted, this hebe requires minimal pruning, but remove misplaced or frost-damaged branches in late spring. Protect from severe winter weather with a double layer of horticultural fleece.
