With its neat evergreen form accented by colourful blooms, ‘Midsummer Beauty’ provides year-round appeal. This rounded shrub boasts rich purple-flushed new growth that matures to deep green, presenting lush glossy foliage on a dense framework. Beginning in summer and extending into autumn, this Veronica erupts with upright spires of lilac flowers tinged in purple. These graceful plumes attract pollinators while providing a beautiful floral display.

  • Garden care:
Veronicas need free-draining soil, so before planting, dig in lots of organic matter to improve the soil condition and drainage. Water newly planted shrubs regularly for the first season, especially in warm, dry weather. Once planted, this veronica requires minimal pruning, but remove misplaced or frost-damaged branches in late spring. Protect from severe winter weather with a double layer of horticultural fleece and a thick mulch layer of well-rotted organic matter around the roots.
    • CAUTION toxic if eaten/skin & eye irritant
