This compact dual-use fire pit really earns its place in the garden - a perfect choice if outdoor space is at a premium.

By day it serves as a smart outdoor side/coffee table (the shelf will take a plant pot so no space is wasted). Remove the copper top and it becomes a fire pit, ready to fill with crackling logs. You can then use the top as an attractive serving tray.

This product is available in two designs - one tall and narrow, and one wide and low. This narrow version has a particularly modest footprint so you should easily find a spot for it on a small patio, terrace, or even balcony.

Combine it with our fire starter dome for easier, more reliable fire lighting - and stand our open fire cooking grill in the bowl to cook up a storm (both sold separately).

The bowl is made from spun steel coated with fire-retardant paint, the stand from steel bar and the top from solid copper with a rolled edge.

We’ve left the copper surface raw and untreated so it will weather in a natural way, producing authentic earthy hues and tones. If you prefer it to look as new, it can be restored to a brushed finish using a little elbow grease and the scouring pad provided.

Caring for your fire bowl

Our Crocus Collection fire bowls are coated with a fire-retardant paint which will burn off with use. To keep the metal in good condition, regularly coat the surfaces with cooking oil or reapply heat-retardant paint.

Over time, exposed metal will naturally rust to produce an oxidised protective coating, but the bowl will retain its structural integrity over many years of use.

Warning:
Always remove the copper top when using this fire pit. After use, wait until the fire has cooled completely before replacing it.

For outdoor use only. Keep children and pets away from the fire pit when lit. Always position away from buildings or combustible objects on a safe, level, non-flammable surface. If using on a paved patio, place on an additional protective paving stone made from solid natural stone or concrete at least 5cm thick. This will avoid possible discolouration and cracking of your patio, as some mock slabs made from resin or ceramic may be susceptible to heat damage. Only for use with logs or charcoal. Never leave a lit fire pit unattended or move when lit. Allow to cool before emptying any ash.
