It’s a job that’s easy to overlook but it’s well worth putting in the effort to pep up tired patchy lawns. A good feed and turf dressing can restore them to glorious green and really revitalise your garden.

This is an organic mix you can rake or scatter over an existing lawn, or rake over soil before laying new turf to get it off on the right foot. One application will feed lawns for three months, boosting colour and thickness, improving resilience, reducing thatch build-up and helping to level bumpy areas.

Each 40 litre bag will cover 6m2 when scattered across your lawn in a sowing motion. The rain or water from your hosepipe or sprinkler will water it in, helping release nutrients slowly to the roots of the grass.

For best results use in the days before rain. Mow the lawn before applying and ideally avoid mowing for a week afterwards. If you must mow, leave the grass collector off the lawnmower and ‘mulch mow’. Giving the bag a good shake to separate the fibres before opening will make it much easier to spread.

Contains a mix of composted maize, rye and grass blended with high-quality PAS100 certified green compost.
