Handmade by artisans in El Salvador, these swinging cushioned hammock chairs provide a perfectly peaceful spot to sit and enjoy the garden.

Made from cotton with polyester cotton-look ropes, the black and white stripe design brings a touch of contemporary style to modern gardens.

Swinging from a single point, it can be hung from a sturdy branch or even an arbour beam, as long as the hardware and hanging strings are strong enough.

Loop a heavy rope or chain over the branch or beam and attach the swing with an 'S' hook or threaded quick link. Bear in mind the chair will stretch slightly when sat on, so allow for this when determining seat height.

The fabric is mildew and fade resistant, though it’s best to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and rain which may weaken the fabric and strings.

Bring indoors when not in use and hand or machine wash at 40 degrees with mild soap and water (remove the wood bar first). Dry thoroughly before storage.
